The mission of the Falmouth Chorale is to share with our
audiences the joy of singing and to communicate with passion the marvelous and varied choral music which has been created over the centuries.
Passionate Voices of the Upper Cape
This award, now in its tenth year, has the dual purpose of supporting the higher education goals of Upper Cape music students and of honoring Frederick Johnson, a long-time Falmouth music educator who directed the Falmouth Chorale for eighteen years.
Last year’s scholarship was awarded to Jonathan Decker from Falmouth High School. This year’s recipient will be introduced at The Falmouth Chorale’s spring concert A Musical Nature, to be performed at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Falmouth.
Applications and information about the scholarship are available from guidance offices at the following schools: Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich High Schools, Falmouth Academy, Sturgis Charter Schools and St. John Paul II High School. Applications are available by contacting Joan Davis, Scholarship Chairperson, at 508-759-2104 or downloading at the left. Completed applications are due by April 6, 2019. Please send all material to:
