Passionate Voices of the Upper Cape

2016/2017 Season Concerts

The Falmouth Chorale is now accepting applications for our Frederick Johnson Music Scholarship. This award, now in its tenth year, has the dual purpose of supporting the higher education goals of Upper Cape music students and of honoring Frederick Johnson, a long-time Falmouth music educator who directed the Falmouth Chorale for seventeen years. Our next concert is PsalmSensation. The Falmouth Chorale and The Zamir Chorale of Boston join forces for a single performance on Sunday  March 19, 2017, at 7 p.m. Lawrence School Falmouth, purchase your tickets here.

On Tuesday, March 14th at 10:30AM, join us for a pre-concert illustrated lecture by Joshua Jacobson, Founder and Artistic Director of the Zamir Chorale of Boston.
Prof. Jacobson will explore the question of how the Psalms may have originally been performed in ancient Israel, and will also provide a preview and fascinating backstories to pieces that will be featured in the March 19th PsalmSensation concert.
The lecture will be held at the Falmouth Jewish Congregation Blanche & Joel Seifer Community Center, 7 Hatchville Rd, East Falmouth. All are welcome. Suggested donation; $5 to $10.

The mission of the Falmouth Chorale is to share with our audiences the joy of singing and to communicate with passion the marvelous and varied choral music which has been created over the centuries.

The Chorale faces continual financial hurdles in an
environment that is unforgiving to community non-profit arts organizations. We are dependent on donations from members of the community and need your support to succeed. If you haven't given your support to the Chorale in the past, we urge you to do so now. If you are a loyal donor, please support us again. We need you to join us in the belief that there are countless creative possibilities in choral art. Help us share with our audiences the joy of singing and support our commitment to communicate with musical passion the marvelous and varied choral music which has been created over the centuries.
